Anita Barone
A stage actress that is versatile and is mostly restricted to sitcoms on TV, Anita Barone received her greatest chance in the medium by playing spouse of Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which had a single season on ABC in 1995-96. Barone played on stage for the first time when she was age five in Detroit when her family moved from St Louis. Barone had appeared in more than 50 productions by the time of 23, mostly university productions and regional theatres. She was Juliet, the tormented young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the leading character of "Monday After the Miracle," as well as Juliet reprised in "Romeo and Juliet." Her debut on screen came in the form of a small part in "The The Rosary Murders" and a brief appearance in "Ricochet", and the lead in indie romantic comedy "Just Friends", in 1996. The first Hollywood job of note was as a participant in the company that owns "Carol & Company" (NBC in 1990 and 1991) in the disastrous plan to Carol Burnett to revive the comedy variety program. Barone made an appearance in"The Wounded Heart" on the USA Network movie "Wounded Heart" in 1995. The actress later returned to her daily sitcom, starring alongside Michael Chiklis on "Daddio".
