Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox made it through on the stipend of a student working part-time in order in order to earn a living. Lennox made the decision to alter her career path after she became dissatisfied by her lack of skill in comparison with others Royal Academy students. Lennox performed flute in the 1976 group called Dragons Playground. But she quit prior to her group being invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. From 1977 to 1980, she was the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop group. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to release her first solo album Diva. This was released in 1992. It was an enormous success with regard to sales and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist was released in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations, was released by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. This album is a companion piece of her "Now I let the door open... art installation which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut self-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on December 25. She is an activist, philanthropist as well as a performer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work during the 1970s. They went on, through the 1980s to be the cult duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva, which featured many of her most popular songs such as Why and walking on Broken Glass. Medusa an album from her studio, which was released in 1995, features songs that are re-imagined from her best-loved songs, including The No MoreI Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). Her solo studio albums and her compilation album include a number of hits.
